The Monadnock Conservancy’s new headquarters adjacent to Ashuelot River Park in downtown Keene is almost complete! We are in the fun phase of putting the final touches on the project before August when our team will move in full-time. Those touches include a pollinator garden, a sculpture, and an impressive solar array. If you are interested in learning more about our headquarters, please join us for our 37th Annual Celebration at this new space where we will be offering tours, along with music, food, and a variety of speakers – click here for FREE registration!

The Conservancy is especially proud of the new, state-of-the-art solar array which will power our headquarters. We partnered with ReVision Energy to ensure the new headquarters reflects our values as an environmental conservation organization.

We are overjoyed at the results – this 108-panel solar array will completely power our building and produce excess power which will then flow into the City of Keene’s power grid. This flow of power back into the city’s grid will reduce pollution and earn the Conservancy solar credits!

The annual generation from the array will equal roughly 59,088 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 73,974 miles driven in a gas-powered car, and keeping more than 57,965 lbs of carbon out of the atmosphere every year.
