On Thursday, March 26th, join Phil Brown, Harris Center bird conservation director, along with avid hiker Jessie James for a 1.6-mile roundtrip hike through the Chamberlain Conservation Area, a Monadnock Conservancy property with level trails and a scenic viewpoint on the Sip Pond peninsula.
Together, we’ll search for signs of early spring and other highlights of the changing seasons — including the songbirds, raptors, and waterfowl that make this trail a favorite among birders and photographers. Bring binoculars (or borrow a pair from us) and come prepared for a variety of conditions, including snow, mud, or ice.
Meet at 10 a.m. at the Sip Pond trailhead at 128 Old Turnpike Road in Fitzwilliam. Back by noon. Space is limited, and registration is required. Click here to register.
