For generations, the Twitchell family has owned two woodlots in Fitzwilliam, totaling 105 acres. In 2025   Anne Twitchell, 94, of Peterborough, worked with the Conservancy to donate these parcels, ensuring they will remain well-managed woodlots into the future. These 105 acres boast water resources, many acres of important local wildlife habitat, forested wetlands, and streams.
