The Monadnock Region is a special place that gets into our hearts and stimulates us to answer the question, “What can we do to protect it?” People sometimes think there is nothing that can be done to slow the incremental development scarring hillsides or removing fields from active agricultural production. If you care deeply about the open spaces that define this place you call home, please join the Monadnock Conservancy. Your involvement today will help shape the landscape of tomorrow.
Basic membership begins at the $35 level, but gifts of any amount are welcome. Please consider a major gift (more than $250) or a dedicated gift to our stewardship endowment or enforcement funds. Gifts of cash, appreciated stock, real estate, or other assets are welcome.
An honorary or memorial gift is a wonderful way to recognize a special occasion or to further the hopes and dreams of a loved one. It's as simple as sending a check to the Conservancy with a note explaining your wishes. We will send an acknowledgment to the donor and notify the families, as appropriate, of our receipt of the gift. Please contact us with any questions.
Several charitable planning vehicles are available, which will enable you to make a long-term gift to the Monadnock Conservancy. You should engage other family members and seek the advice of your own attorney, financial planner, or tax specialist before deciding on a course of action. Your personal circumstances will dictate the best way for you to make a lasting impact with your donation.
One very straightforward way to pass assets to the Conservancy is to include them in your will or trust, bequeathing them to the organization on your death.
